SHE powered by iDE is a gender-smart entrepreneurship support program within iDE (International Development Enterprises), dedicated to increasing opportunities for women entrepreneurs and family-run businesses, particularly in Cambodia. Formerly a social enterprise, SHE transitioned in January 2024 to operate within iDE, scaling programs that strengthen women’s ability to start, grow, and sustain enterprises on their own terms.
At its core, SHE delivers practical, culturally tailored support, combining business training and tools that help women improve financial literacy, build confidence as leaders, and make smarter decisions for growth. Through incubator and accelerator-style programming, SHE helps entrepreneurs sharpen their business fundamentals (from pricing and cash flow to customer strategy), strengthen operations, and expand earning opportunities.
SHE’s roots are in Cambodia, where it launched as a women-focused incubator in 2015, and its impact has since expanded globally. iDE notes that SHE has supported 2,600+ female entrepreneurs worldwide, with thousands graduating from its programs and significant early income gains reported among graduates. This scale is driven by a “train-the-trainer” approach and partnerships that allow SHE’s curriculum to be adapted and delivered across multiple countries.
Today, SHE powered by iDE continues to grow a supportive ecosystem for women-led micro, small, and medium enterprises, connecting entrepreneurs to relevant knowledge, coaching, and networks that reduce barriers and unlock momentum. Whether you’re an aspiring business owner, a partner organization, or a supporter of women’s economic empowerment, SHE invites you to be part of building a more inclusive economy, one enterprise at a time.
